July 2020: Disparate Access

The Covid-19 pandemic and related stay at home orders forced a large number of employees to work from home, interacting with coworkers and business associates via meeting software that requires reliable broadband. Most college students finished their spring semesters with online classes, with elementary and secondary students doing the same. Now more than ever, gaps in broadband access have been exposed.
