Changing Demographics in Wisconsin

At the WCA Legislative Conference in February 2025, Forward Analytics gave a presentation on the changing demographics of the state.

During the presentation, Director Dale Knapp and Deputy Director Kevin Dospoy discussed total population changes as well as changes within specific demographic groups, including the working age population (age 25-64), the elderly (age 75+), and WIsconsin’s youth (under 15).

These population projections were developed using data published by the Wisconsin DOA. The calculations and data analysis for these visuals were done by Forward Analytics.
